# 2024-08-18-ace-release-patch-phone-priority

On August 18, 2024, our monthly release was deployed.

An update was made to phone priority behavior with the release. See notes related to the change here: [**Phone Priority Update**](https://docs.interprose.com/docs/release-notes-08182024#phone-priority-update).

A problem was subsequently discovered where verifying a phone number that was already in the priority 1 position resulted in the number dropping down to a lower priority. That has been fixed with this patch.

**In order to deploy the release, downtime of up to 15 minutes may be experienced.**
