The File Manager allows users to perform common file operations such as creating, opening, renaming, copying, moving and deleting files and folders.
Locating the File Manager
You can locate the File Manager using one of two options:
Navigate to Utilities → File Manager
From the Home Page Sidebar, select File Manager.
Folders
Folders are grouped as follows:
Backups: Stores backup folders.
Clients: Stores client folders.
Public: Stores images.
Users: Stores ACE user folders.
Creating Folders
To create a folder:
Right-click on an empty space and select New Folder from the menu.
Name the folder.
Click Submit to create the folder.
To create a subfolder:
Highlight the "parent" folder and follow the above steps.
Documents
Uploading Files
Upload files by dragging and dropping them into the File Manager or by using the Upload button.
Downloading Files
Download documents by clicking on the desired document.
Move Documents to an Account
Right-click on the file.
Select Send to Account.
Enter the account number in the Account field.
Click Submit.
File Status
In the File Manager, new and active files are displayed in black, while viewed files are displayed in grey.
