Administrators can create and manage user profiles efficiently, ensuring proper access levels and data security. Regularly reviewing and updating user profiles enables organizations to adapt to evolving requirements while maintaining a secure and streamlined ACE environment. ### User Profiles Overview - User profiles in ACE determine user access, permissions, and data roles. - Tailor each profile to specific roles and responsibilities within the system. ### User Types in ACE - *User* is any individual that has access to ACE. Company users are typically Agents/Collectors. - *Client Access* allows your company's clients to access information in their accounts. - *Admin* is the ACE application manager and primary customer contact for ACE support. ### Creating User Profiles - Clone existing profiles and customize them for individual users. - This approach ensures consistency and reduces setup time. Read [Adding Users](/v1/docs/adding-users) and [Clone a User](/v1/docs/clone-a-user-1) for specific instructions. ### Permission Roles - Permission roles define areas of ACE accessible to users and actions they can perform. - Customize roles based on user responsibilities and needs. Read [Add Permission Roles](/v1/docs/add-permission-roles-and-data-roles) for more information. ### Data Roles - Data roles specify the accounts or clients users can access in ACE. - Assign data roles to restrict or grant appropriate data access. Read [Add Data Roles](/v1/docs/add-data-roles-2) for more information. ### User Profile Management - Regularly review and update user profiles as organizational needs evolve. - Exercise caution when modifying permission and data roles to maintain data security. - Maintain uniformity across user profiles for ease of administration.
