Setup Commission Rate

Client Commission Rate, Update and Creation

 Go to Clients-Commissions

• ACE provides sample commission rates to help streamline the setup process. 
• To create a new commission rate, click "New" at the bottom right of the Commissions section. 

• Enter a Label name, (use a label description that is clear to anyone selecting the commission rate).
• Copy and Paste the Label name into the Identifier field.
• Select Commission Type, for client commissions, select client. 
  • Client - Client Commissions
  • Users - User Commissions (this is setup in, Setup-Users-Commissions)
  • Attorney - Attorney Commissions
• Custom Hook - Leave this field blank - to be used only for custom development. 
• Click, "Save".

• Select the commission rate that was just created.

• To setup the Commission Rate Logic, click on, "New". 

Since the Commission Rate we are setting up is 50% Legal and 30% default, we'll need to first create the commission rate logic for the Legal status codes. 

• Enter a name for the Label.
• Select all legal status codes.
• Enter 50 in the percent Principle. (If you are sharing any of the other amounts with your client you will want to enter the agencies commission, if not you will enter 100.)

The next commission logic rate is the default

 The below example shows the status code check first, followed by balance and age, age and lastly default.  The default commission amount will ALWAYS be last.
