Commission Rate

Clients commissions are what the customer keeps as commission on anything that they collect for their clients. These can be setup under the Clients - Commissions menu.

These rates are usually going to be discussed between the customer and their client before they add them to ACE so they should have a good idea of what the rates should be. 

To begin they are going to click on the  button.

They are then going to give their commission rate a Label. The best idea for this is to label it the rate they are setting up, for example Commission 25% and 50%. This will make it easier for the customer to understand which rates they are selecting when they need to apply them to the client profile. 

The next step will be to enter an Identifier, this is usually named the same as the Label. 

The Description text box is the next step, again, this usually mirrors the label and identifier but the customer can input anything they see fit in this field. 

The Commission Type will come next, this will need to be set to Client, it is a client commission so it will always need to be set to Client. 

Custom Hook is an optional field that many of our customers do not use, this is a custom code that was created for the customer by our DEV team. 

After entering all of the required fields the customer is next going to add the logic. 

This is what is going to tell the system how to apply and break up the commission from the payment. In the example above the customer is taking 25% of what the debtor has paid towards the Principal bucket and is taking 50% of any fee that has been charged to the debtor as well.
