Example Procedure: Account Search
Account Search is a powerful tool that enables you to quickly locate accounts within the system. Here's how to access and use it effectively:
1. Accounts Menu: Go to the Menu Bar, select "Search" from the Accounts menu.
2. Utility Bar: Click the magnifying glass icon next to the account search box on the Utility Bar.
Refining Your Search
The advanced search page provides various search fields, including account, demographic, forwarding, and custom fields. Utilize these fields to narrow down your search based on specific criteria.
Maximizing Search Results
To increase the likelihood of finding the desired account, we recommend minimizing the number of search parameters. Adding more criteria reduces the chances of finding a match. If you encounter too many results, return to the search screen to refine and narrow down your search further.
Using Wildcard Search
If you don't know the exact spelling of a name or address, employ wildcards (* or %) in the Demographic Options section of the Account Search Screen. For instance, entering "Jo*" in the first name field and "Smith" in the last name field will retrieve all accounts with the last name "Smith" and first name starting with "Jo."
