AWS determines what qualifies as a complaint, such as when a consumer marks an email as spam or reports other issues. When AWS flags a complaint, ACE: 1. Updates the email status to "COMPLAINT." 2. Automatically opts out the associated email address to prevent further emails. #### Workflow Configuration The onAfterDemographicEmailComplaint trigger provides the flexibility for customers to configure further workflows, ensuring that their processes align with their specific business needs. #### Important Notes - AWS defines and categorizes all complaints before sending the data to ACE. - Businesses using ACE should review their workflow configurations to confirm whether the system's default behavior (e.g., opting out emails) meets their compliance and communication goals. ## Email Deliverability Dashboard Panels There are two dashboard panels available relating to email deliverability. ### **Email Deliverability Graph:** - Purpose: Displays email deliverability over time. - Customizable Options: - Show All - Sent - Opened - Bounced ![](https://cdn.document360.io/6c7303ca-5ffc-4149-8868-8ea498eee635/Images/Documentation/unnamed%20(31).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T14%3A33%3A15Z&se=2026-10-31T15%3A33%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=OocAOK8SetNBPOpLiPkMyvFKe73FkCNGKE9QXQ6vl5U%3D) Image Displays Email Deliverability Graph ### **Email Deliverability Chart:** - Purpose: Provides a chart view of email deliverability. - Customization: Use the Edit option to set the date range for the chart. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/6c7303ca-5ffc-4149-8868-8ea498eee635/Images/Documentation/unnamed%20(32).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T14%3A33%3A15Z&se=2026-10-31T15%3A33%3A15Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=OocAOK8SetNBPOpLiPkMyvFKe73FkCNGKE9QXQ6vl5U%3D) Image Displays Edit Option Note The "Email Deliverability" chart requires a specific send date range (e.g., week, month) for accurate data.
