# Funding the Trust Account Register

If you are going to reconcile the Trust Account against your Bank Account, you will need to fund the register.

Go to **Accounting-Registers-Select the Trust Account-Add**

### Trust Account Fields

- Entry Account=Deposit (Payment is used to transfer money OUT of the register)
- Memo=Funding the register
- Deposit=$1,000.00
- Transaction Date=Today
- Entry Type=Transfer
- Click Save

The deposit will be in a pending status. Review the register to ensure accuracy.

In the register, click the checkbox "C" to clear the deposit just made.

Other Transaction TypesOther transaction types in the deposit register include: deposited payment batches, remitted invoices, and any voided invoice payments. 

a Trust account in ACE is used to establish a record that mirrors bulk payments deposited into a bank account, which are subsequently invoiced for remittance to clients.
