Letter Category

Letter Category

There are several letter categories that can be selected for each Letter Profile. The field letter_config.category is available for SQL Designer reports.

1. VALIDATION_NOTICE - The Validation Notice Category includes system automated workflow at the account level that will populate the following account fields (See the help article for Validation Notice Dates for additional information)
   • a Validation Notice Sent Date
   • a Validation Notice End Date and
   • a Validation Notice Returned Date
2. ADDITIONAL_NOTICE - Any notice that is not a Validation Notice or Limited Content Notice
3. LIMITED_CONTENT - A customer can use this category to distinguish notices that may qualify as "limited content" now or in the future
4. INFORMATION- A customer can use this for messages unrelated to collecting on a debt
5. FIRST_PARTY- This is for first party debt
6. OTHER - All notices are defaulted to the category "OTHER" if a category was not explicitly selected  when the profile was created (when "Letter Category" was not an established required field)
7. INVITATION-A customer can use this category to send invitation to opt in
