Restricting Letter Access

Letter access is provided to users through the Permission Role associated with the Send Role ID field set for each letter profile. 

To limit access to certain letters:

• In the letter profile, the Send Role ID = “LETTER_SEND” needs to be replaced with a different Permission Role.
• Users who SHOULD have access to the letter must have the Permission Role you are going to use for the Send Role ID in their User Profile.
• Users who SHOULD NOT have access to the letter must NOT have the Permission Role you are going to use for the Send Role ID in their User Profile.

If you believe modifications to Permission Roles are needed, please reach out to our support team for assistance. Modifying Permission Roles can have unexpected adverse consequences.
