Loading Names Using the Demographic Unified Name Field

Demographic Unified Name Field

When loading accounts via the ETL loader with a unified name mapped to an ACE Demographic Unified Name field, the ACE unified name parser will attempt to parse the name to distinct name fields based on the following formats:


FIRST LAST
FIRST MIDDLE LAST
LAST, FIRST
LAST, FIRST SUFFIX
LAST, FIRST MIDDLE
LAST SUFFIX, FIRST
LAST SUFFIX, FIRST MIDDLE
FIRST MIDDLE LAST SUFFIX
LAST, FIRST MIDDLE SUFFIX
LAST, PREFIX FIRST MIDDLE
LAST_PREFIX LAST, FIRST
LAST, FIRST MIDDLE LAST_PREFIX
LAST, FIRST LAST_PREFIX
LAST, FIRST MIDDLE
LAST, FIRST MIDDLE MAIDEN

ACE Name Parser

The ACE unified name parser will attempt to recognize the following when it parses names provided in the formats listed above:


Prefixes - "MR", "MRS", "MS", "DR", "PROF"
Suffixes - "I", "II", "III", "IV", "V", "VI", "JR", "SR", "MD", "DVM", "PHD", "ESQ"
Last Name Prefixes - "DE", "SAN"

Note
If the ACE Unified Name Parser is not able to resolve the name format to be parsed to individual fields, the name will be loaded to the Company Name field for the demographic record.
