By default, all text and email category settings are set to require opt-in, except for the "Invite" category, which cannot be modified. However, customers have the flexibility to customize the additional category settings based on their specific needs and preferences.
Note
It is essential to have your compliance and legal teams validate any configurations allowing the sending of emails or text messages to recipients who have not opted in.
Email Opt-in Settings
Go to Setup-Emails-Preferences
- Locate the Category Opt-in Required section
- By default, Invitation email does not require Opt-In
- Make the desired changes based on your requirements
- Apply
Text Opt-in Settings
Go to Setup-Vendors-Text Messages
- Locate the Category Opt-in Required section
- By default, Invitation text does not require Opt-In
- Make the desired changes based on your requirements
- Apply
Text Messaging
You will need to adjust the category settings separately for each text message vendor.
