Cool New Upgrades

Action Paths 

Sequential Action Paths:

It is now possible to have an action path call another action path, this is done through the new 'action path' action:

An example use case follows where a sub action path is triggered if a logic condition is met, and a different one triggers if it is not:

It is important to note that the sub action path executes the moment it is triggered from the parent action path, all actions within the sub action path will be completed before the system returns to the parent action path and continues with the original sequence. 

Please take performance into consideration when using this feature, it is possible to create a long sequence of multiple action paths activating each other and could degrade performance considerably. 

JavaScript Condition Action Path (Advanced Feature):

We have created an action path that allows true/false determination based on the JavaScript inputted into the action path. This feature allows for a higher level of customization for our power users in how conditions are evaluated. It is important to note that the final result of yourJavaScript should be a boolean value.

Addresses

Address Validation:

Our address evaluation criteria for assessing whether an address is valid has been expanded to consider many new possible scenarios and will be even more accurate.

File Manager

Right Click File Manipulation:

A recent update to chrome removed the right click functionality in the file manager (previously allowed you to cut, copy, paste, rename or delete files), That functionality has been restored with the latest update (shown below).

Account Documents

Automated File Unzip:

The account document loader job task now has an option to automatically unzip files after processing. If selected, this options will take all the contents of the zipped file and post them to the relevant account individually. 

Client Access

Cancelled Accounts Pill:

If a client access user is viewing a cancelled account, they will now be able to see the cancelled account indicator pill similar to our normal agent profiles.

Legal Module

Exclude Court Cost from Judgment Amount:

It is now possible to exclude Court Costs already associated to a standard account from the final judgment amount. 

Letters

Payment Bundle Loop:

A new type of letter loop has been added for payment letters called 'bundle_payment_trans_loop'. This loop is intended to capture all payments across every account in the bundle, even if the account was not a part of those transactions.

Additional Tables Available for Letter Sending:

legalCaseCourt and legalCaseProcessServer tables are now available for reference when designing letter templates or sending letters.

Logic

New Logic Option:

We have added the ability to search by bundle promise date to logic blocks. The bundle promise date will be set on a bundle as the closest promise date on any bundle member.

Security

PGP Key Identity:

When generating a PGP key pair, users can now specify a key Identity value. If a custom Identity is preferred when generating a key the value can be specified in the new identifier field.

User Password Policy Changes:

ACE no longer requires users to reset password at a regular interval. Scheduled resets appear to be doing more harm than good throughout the industry as it causes users to choose weaker passwords or even write them down to remember. Instead of forcing a password reset, we are now checking passwords used in ACE against a large database of unsafe passwords and restricting them from use. Overall we feel this will result in a more secure environment and a better user experience. 

As an added technical detail - We are following NIST Passwords guidelines, an accepted standard by PCI  and HIPAA

ACE's login interface now has an option to toggle the visibility of what you have inputted into the password field as shown below:

TCN Dialer

TCN Import:

Some optimizations have been made to the TCN import job, there should be a noticeable improvement in import speed going forward.

Making Things Right

- Fixed a bug allowing token information to migrate when a payment plan was moved between payment destinations.

- Fixed a bug that caused the judgement result and date fields to be cleared when a judgment account was created. 

- Fixed a bug that sometimes causes inactive users to still not display when the active = true filter was removed from the users view screen.

- Fixed an issue where the SendDemographicEmail flow action would throw null error if you didn't have the Email All Opted In Addresses setting set to true/false.
