    ACE Release Notes - 7/18/2021

    Cool New Upgrades

     

    Logic Blocks

    Limit Number of Accounts Returned

    There is now an option to limit the specific number of accounts returned by a logic block when the number of accounts matching the logic criteria might otherwise be greater than the specified number.

     

    For example, "My Logic Block" below resulted in 27 accounts, but I chose to return a list of only 5 of the matching accounts.

    Canada

    Postal code time zone support has been added. Agents will be notified when working outside of working hours. This data will update monthly. Please reach out to support with any questions.

    Restore From Audit Logs

    When audit logs are stored in ACE related to modifications, administrative users now have the capability to restore setup to a previous state. This is a powerful option and should be used with 🚧 extreme caution 🚧. Please consult with support before using it.

     

    In the example below, I first opened a client profile and changed the customer client code from ATC to ATCC. Then I located the audit log related to the change. After opening the audit log, I selected Restore (1) and a confirmation message was displayed (2). A new audit log is created to reflect the "restored" activity. I opened the client and verified the client code was returned to the original (ATC).

    Form Enhancements

    Email type form fields now validate against correct email formatting.

     

    Some significant features have been added to our form tools. Be watching for additional details in the near future related to how these tools can be used. See the 'Take a Closer Look' section for a summary of the new capabilities you'll be able to set up in forms.

    SQL Designer

    There are several New SQL Designer Features as follows

    1. When designing reports in the SQL Designer, the option to "TEST" the results is now available by using a keyboard command of CTRL + Enter
    2. The column headers displayed when viewing html report results are now more easily distinguished and consistent with ACE core reports
    3. An experimental feature is now available to generate SQL query results in an html Pivot table - documentation is currently unavailable, however advanced report designers should be able to begin testing this feature
      • Prepare and test a SQL query
      • Query results must be limited as the pivot table tool cannot render based on an excessive number of returned rows - returning aggregate details in the query prior to testing pivot table outputs will improve performance
      • After validating results, select the "PIVOT" Output Format and apply
      • Use test to render the results; Run will provide the html that can be used the same way the test results can to manipulate and view the pivot table results
      • See one simple example below of the results that can be rendered using the Pivot Output Format

    Worklist Enhancement

    The speed of working accounts from a worklist has been improved. The metrics associated with each worklist, for example the "number of accounts remaining to be worked", are no longer viewable from the Workflow -> Worklists list view. A new ACE core report is available from Workflow -> Worklists Report showing which will return real time metrics at the time it is run.

    TCN Dialer Changes in ACE

    TCN jobs can now successfully be stopped, so long as a "Dialer: TCN - Send Do Not Call List" job task is not part of the same job.

     

    Additional logging has been added to capture failed TCN job task details.

     

    Phone numbers identified in ACE as "Do Not Call" are updated to TCN as part of our integration. However, if a "Dialer: TCN - Send Do Not Call List" update is required, either for conversion or intermittently, for example; once per day, the task should be scheduled in a job by itself and should be run outside of working hours.

    Form Enhancements

    Several new options are now available through form set up.

     

    Some of the new form tools will enable end users greater control over form management. A few will be available to staff with advanced technical abilities and will require JavaScript.

     

    Summary - the new features include options for the following.

    • View an alternate label
    • Access two "misc" fields for each form field
    • Control field label style properties
    • Form validation
    • Field validation
    • Hide (but continue to use) data in fields
    • Select more than one option in a select list
    • Store empty fields to manage form spacing
    • Alter form columns
    • Select from a list of SQL designer reported values

    Making Things Right

     

    - Removed the ability to erroneously paste an image into list search fields.

    - Updated Date of Birth field to display years instead of days.

    - Commission spread now updates when spread is manually updated.

    - Corrected "Do Not Email" evaluation as criteria in logic blocks.

    - Corrected for email delivery exceptions/attempts.

    - List view counts updated to match list view filter changes.

    - Fixed user name column for credit reporting vendor list view.

    - Fixed errors related to loading judgment accounts.

    - Updated legal letters so first legal case defendant is available when not using a looping table property.

    - Improved account loading for clients with subclients.

    - Fixed ability to view user interface summary section for updates to U.I.

    - Updated BillingTree settlement date data point.

    - "Held" has been added as a pending payment transaction status from ACH Solutions.

    - Fixed time zone impact to agent commission report.

    - Corrected ability to work accounts from worklists with a future next work date.
