ACE Release Notes - 12/19/2021Below are the updates and fixes we will be pushing out to all of our customers. We can’t wait to deliver further improvements to you in the months ahead!
We are expecting the downtime for deploying this update to be ten to fifteen minutes. |
Regulation FCheck out the "Take a Closer Look" section where we outline the sixth phase of new features and tools in ACE being rolled out with this release to help you manage Regulation F requirements. |
Cool New Upgrades |
Regulation F Bonus DevelopmentIn addition to the scheduled development we are including in each release, needs continue to be identified and put in place. This release, we've added the following.
Client Access User - Simplified Itemization EntryClients are now able to enter new accounts using Itemization field balances instead of Itemization Transactions. ACE will automatically enter itemization transactions to match the balances.
In addition, if a Client Access User needs to be able to enter individual Itemization Transactions, they can be set up to be able to do that. A new Boolean field (Enable Itemization Transactions) will need to be set to true (checked) in the Client Access User Interface. It will be set to false by default. |
Load Itemization Field Balances in Place ofItemization TransactionsItemization Interest, Fees, Payments and Credits are now available to be loaded via an Account ETL profile. ACE will automatically enter itemization transactions to match the balances. |
Option to Disregard Compliance Rules at the Client LevelThere is a Boolean field in the Preferences section of each Client Profile now. The field is called "Obey Compliance Rules". If it is set to true (checked), the compliance settings will be applied for the client's accounts. The Boolean is set to true by default. |
Client ETL Update CapabilityThe Clients ETL Import Load Method can now also be set up to be used to update client profile fields. The ETL Imports set up for updating should, typically, be different than those used to load clients and must have the "Overlay" Boolean set to true (checked). When used this way, the ETL Import will replace existing data in the fields that are mapped (except for key fields used to identify the client profile). |
A Change to the Firing of Mismatch TriggersPreviously, accounts mismatch was being checked in real time based on specific behavior such as saving a new account or scheduling a validation notice. Mismatch Triggers are now firing by default once daily.
If you would like Mismatch Triggers to fire more frequently or On Demand, there is now an available Job task to do that. See the screenshot below.
Please note: Mismatched accounts will still continue to show the mismatch pill before the Mismatch Trigger is fired if the account was loaded or entered with mismatched Itemization details. |
The tables for "forward_recall" and "forward_recall_batch" are now exposed forSQL Designer Reports |
Email & Text Opt In Status HighlightingWhen viewing the account summary, email addresses and phone numbers will be highlighted to show their opt in status for emailing or text messaging. |
Set Letter Profiles as Active or InactiveThere is now an option to set letters profiles as active or inactive. Letter profiles will be active by default. |
Take a Closer Look |
Regulation F Development - Phase 6The CFPB's 12 CFR Part 1006 (Regulation F) went into effect November 30, 2021. With that in mind, InterProse is continuing to develop features and tools in ACE to help customers better manage Regulation F requirements. Per documentation shared with customers September 25th and October 1st via email, the fifth phase of this development work will be released on December 19th as outlined in the details below. |
Need: Els/Email opt-out link - Previously deferred from Phase 4 The html shown here can be included in an email to a consumer. The consumer will see a link that they can use to opt in (first line) or opt out (second line). Only the email address associated with the email sent will be opted in or out.
<a href="${ <a href="${ |
Need: Simplified agent opt in method for communication channels (email, text, phone & letter) While working an account, the agent now has access to set opt in/opt out for priority 1 communication channels associated with the account's primary demographic. |
Need: Simplified opt in method when payments are taken When entering secure payments (ACH & Credit Card), the priority 1 primary demographic phone and email are populated by default. New phone or email address can be entered in association with the payment being taken. Either way, there is now a quick opt in method for phones that are not already opted in for text messages and for email addresses that are not already opted in. New entries will become priority 1 for the primary demographic. |
Need: The ability to recalculate itemization balances Balances for transactions and itemization transactions can now be recalculated from the account. This functionality is only accessible to administrative users. There is also an action available via action paths to recalculate balances.
Please note: It is extremely rare that any customer should need to recalculate balances. If you are unsure, please reach out to support with questions. |
Please see Regulation F Bonus Development in the "Cool New Upgrades" section near the beginning of the release notes for additional features being released that were not originally scheduled. |
*Please Note: Due to the evolving understanding of priorities surrounding Regulation F, you can expect development tasks to continue to be rearranged in the schedule.
Whenever possible, we will clearly define the various changes to the originally scheduled development work here in the release notes.
