    ACE Release Notes - 05/16/2020

Hi (oops, I don't have your first name in our database!),

Below are the updates and fixes we will be pushing out to all of our customers.

We can’t wait to deliver further improvements to you in the months ahead!

    All the best,

Your friends at The InterProse Corporation

    Cool New Upgrades

No Rest for the Weary Programmer!

    Bundling

    Custom Bundle Tests:

When adding a custom field to your bundling logic, the label in the bundle tests form now indicates the field you specified instead of saying 'Account field'

    Re-evaluate Bundle Primary:

We have added an option to allow re-evaluation of which account within a bundle is primary. The settings are located under settings>accounts>bundling. Users will be able to select from a list of criteria used to determine which account becomes the bundle primary (oldest account, highest balance, etc):

The bundle re-evaluation only occurs when a member is added, removed, or re-evaluated via the action path task.

    Credential Manager

    SSH Key Support:

Our credential manager now supports generating and/or storing SSH key pairs for use within ACE. The functionality is very similar to our already existing PGP storage, please see the 'Take a Closer Look' section for more details.

Note: some of our customers already using SSH for credit reporting may experience issues connecting to Experian after the release this weekend, if this occurs please reach out to support and we will get that straightened out for you as soon as possible.

    ETL

    Email/Text ETL Loaders:

We have created new ETL profiles that allow you to load email/text logs provided by external vendors. For example, including whether the message was opened/failed/responded to.

    Invoicing

    Invoice Delivery

When manually delivering invoices, The task is handed off to a new invoice generating job, this will result in more stable invoice delivery when creating invoices for a large amount of clients.

    Logic Blocks

    New Searchable Fields:

We have added several new searchable fields to logic blocks within ACE.

    Search by Multiple Primary Agents:

It is now possible to specify multiple agents when searching by primary agent:

Just select the primary agent criteria from the 'add field' drop-down menu and click on the white box that appears, a drop-down menu will appear showing all possible agents.

    Data fields

    New Data Fields:

We have added several new data fields for use in logic blocks, sql and letters including the following:

    • Settlement Amount
    • Primary Agent
    • Secondary Agent
    • Name Suffix
    • Attorney Fee Balance
    • Court Cost Balance

    SFTP

    SFTP Compression:

We have improved the compression used within ACE while sending/receiving files VIA SFTP, this should result in faster transfer times when exporting/importing files through ACE.

    Statute of Limitations

    SOL State Region setting:

We have added the ability to override the default state used to determine SOL (normally the state associated with the primary address). This can be specified at both the client and debt level. Please see the 'Take a Closer Look' section for more details.

    SSH Key Support

Our credential Manager now supports generating and/or storing SSH key pairs for use within ACE. The functionality is very similar to our already existing PGP storage.

To create/manage your SSH keys, Please navigate to Setup>Security Credentials and click on 'new' below the secure keys form. Specify an Identifier/description and select SSH from the type drop down menu. Specifying the SSH type will change the window to have additional fields related to secure pair keys:

ACE allows you to enter a public/Private key combination you have generated elsewhere, or the software can generate a new pair for you. Once inputted and saved the private key will be hidden from view:

It is important to note that a security credential profile does not need to have both a public and private key, it can be used to store a public key with no associated private key. This is typically used if a key was provided by another organization to decrypt incoming data. Once created, the SSH key pair can be used in document transfer tasks:

When used In a 'document transfer to:' task, the private key will be used to Encrypt the outgoing data. The receiving organization will need to have the public key in order to decrypt the incoming data.

When used in a 'document transfer from:' task, a credential containing the public key provided by the organization sending you the encrypted data will need to be used.

Note: some of our customers already using SSH for credit reporting may experience issues connecting to Experian after the release this weekend, if this occurs please reach out to support and we will get that straightened out for you ASAP.

    SOL State Region Setting

We have added the ability to specify which state the SOL date is being determined from, this can be specified at both the client and debt level. Normally, A debts SOL date is determined by the state associated with the primary address. There is now a state override at both the client and debt level.

    Override at the debt level:

Override at the client level (located in each client profile):

It is important to note that These overrides have a specific priority. If no override is set at the client or debt level, the state  associated with the primary address will be used. If a client level state is set, it will override the primary address default, and if a debt level state is set, it will override BOTH the client level override AND the primary address state.
