# Settlement/Payment

## 

Within a user profile, the Settlement/Payment Section comprises fields that are specific to the users settlement and payment preferences.

- User Settlement / Payment selections are subordinate to the Client Settlement / Payment options
- If an option (field) in the Client Settlement / Payment section is populated for Client Accounts being worked, any data populated in the same option (field) for the User Settlement / Payment section will be ignored

### **Fields**

The fields in this section are:

- Min Settlement
  - *What is the minimum percentage an account can be settled for?*
- Min Settlement Amount
  - *What is the minimum amount an account can be settled for?*
- Max Number of Days of Payment Plan
  - *How many days can the consumer take to complete the payment plan?*
- Max Number of Payments
  - *How many payments can the consumer make to pay off the account?*
- Min Payment Amount
  - *What is the smallest payment the consumer can make?*
- Min Down Payment Percent
  - *What is the minimum percentage that can be taken as a down payment?*
- Max Days Out Plan Start Date
  - *How soon must the plan start (maximum days from today)?*
