This video will cover the work order and sort field dynamics. Please review the detail below the video for the individual steps outlined in it.
Work Order and Sort Field Dynamics
In this video, we'll explore the roles of Work Order and the Sort Field Options in a worklist. When agents access a worklist, the sequence in which accounts are to be addressed is influenced by two essential elements: the Work Order and the Sort Field. The Work Order establishes the account sequence, while the Sort Field specifies the criteria for sorting.
Work Order Selections
There are two Work Order selections available: Dynamic and Static.
Dynamic Work Order
Dynamic Work Order is evaluated in real-time and is commonly sorted by the next work date. By default, the worklist displays accounts scheduled for work today or earlier, which haven't been worked yet.
Static Work Order
Unlike Dynamic Work Order, Static Work Order doesn't re-sort accounts in real-time. Instead, sorting occurs when the list is initially built and remains unchanged until it's rebuilt or modified.
Sort Fields Section
The Sort Fields Section allows you to incorporate additional criteria for organizing accounts in a worklist.
Dynamic Sort Field Options
Under Dynamic Work Order, Sort Field Options include: Assigned Date Promised Payment Date Bundle and more. You can arrange these fields in either Ascending or Descending order.
Static Sort Field Options
Under Static Work Order, Sort Field Options include: Account Primary Demographics Bundle and more. You can sort these fields in Ascending or Descending order. Remember, the Sort Field provides additional criteria that influences the arrangement of accounts within the worklist.
Summary
Work Order and the selections made in the Sort Field determines the sequence in which accounts appear within a worklist.
