# Creating a News Panel for Dashboards (Legacy)

A news panel can be created and then added to dashboards to share important information with users.

1. Go to Setup → News → New.
2. Enter Label
3. Enter Content
4. (Optional) Enter Expiration Date.
5. Click **Save**.
