Modify A Payment Plan

This article will demonstrate how to modify an existing Payment Plan.

Payment plans can be modified to update payment credentials, amounts, dates, frequency, or other plan details.

Permission Required

Users must have the PAYMENT_PLAN_MODIFY permission to see the Modify option.

When enabled, the Modify option appears next to Apply and Deactivate on an active payment plan.

How It Works

  • When Modify is selected, ACE automatically deactivates the existing payment plan.
  • The payment plan page opens, allowing you to update the plan details.
  • Existing payment credentials are retained.
  • The Modify option is available for both standard and Settlement-type payment plans.

Modify a payment plan

  1. Click on Active Payment Plan in the account sidebar
  2. In the Plan Information section, click Modify
  3. ACE will automatically present the payment plan page
  4. Click Yes, in the Confirm Modify Payment Plan pop-up
  5. Locate and make appropriate modifications
  6. Click Save

Please Note
  • The modified plan behaves like a new payment plan. Carefully review all values, details, and dates before saving.
  • If a payment is scheduled for the same date the plan is saved, processing will begin immediately upon saving.
