User Goal ETL Overview
The ETL load method allows you to update user goals directly within ACE. Below are the fields that can be utilized with this method, instructions for file upload, and steps to confirm data mapping.
Available Fields
The following fields can be populated in your import file to update user goals:
User ID
Username
Month - Standard date formats can be used, but only the month and year will be imported. Examples:
YYYY-MM
YYYY-MM-DD
Goal Amount
Important Note
If data fails to load using this ETL Load Method, error messages will appear in ETL History Messages but will not be shown in Job Log Messages.
Navigate to Accounts → ETL Import → History to review the ETL history for specific error details.
Steps for Importing User Goals
Go to Accounts → ETL Import → Profiles, New
Upload the User Goal File
Load Method: User Goals
Enter Data into the following Fields:
Enter Label:
Description:
Start at Row:
File Type:
Click Apply
Map the data:
Data Display: The system displays the first 10 rows and the last 4 rows of data from your file to help you confirm mapping accuracy.
Mapping:
Each column includes a Mapped Field Placeholder just above the first data row. This placeholder is where you assign each imported data column to the correct ACE field.
ACE will attempt to automatically map fields based on your initial upload. However, it’s crucial to review each field mapping for accuracy.
Save for Future Use:
After mapping all fields correctly, save the Import Placements Profile to reuse it with files formatted in the same structure.
Load the Data.
Verify User Goals
Open the User Profile
Locate the Agent Goals Section
Verify the data loaded correctly.
Troubleshooting
If the goals imported incorrectly, you can Rollback the ETL load.
