This article provides instructions on adding Data Roles in a User, Admin or Client Access user Profile in ACE.
Add User Data Roles
- Setup-Users-Profiles
- Select User
- Click Add under Data Roles
- Select the roles using the check boxes
- Click Save
- Click Save once again in the Profile section
Test Data Roles
- Open the user profile you want to test
- Click on the Become User button
- Note any differences you observe while using the system as the user
- Avoid making any actual actions or changes while logged in as the user
- Log out of the user account
- Log back in using your administrator credentials
Client Access Data Roles
Ensure that you choose the specific Client when assigning Data Roles to a Client Access User.
If the incorrect Data Role is assigned, locate the Data Roles section and click the Delete Button (red X) next to the role. This will prompt you to delete the role. Click the Yes button to confirm the delete.
