What is the purpose of the Speed Posting option?
The Speed Posting option allows you to quickly post multiple payments from a single screen without opening individual accounts.
How do you access the Speed Posting feature?
To access Speed Posting:
From the main menu, go to Transactions.
Select Speed Posting.

What information do you need to provide when using Speed Posting?
When using Speed Posting, provide the following information:
Field | Description |

Transaction Batch | Select the appropriate batch. |
Account | Enter the account number where the payment will be applied. Wildcards can be used to search for accounts. |
Amount | Enter the payment amount. |
Commission Amount | Enter the commission amount, if applicable. |
Transaction Date | Specify the date. |
Spreader | Select a spreader from the dropdown. If a spreader is not selected, you must enter Operator, Bucket, and Type. |
Auto Select Bundle Members | If enabled, this option automatically selects bundle members with an active status code after the account is located. You can also manually select bundle members. |
Operator | Select an operator if a spreader is not used. |
Bucket | Select a bucket if a spreader is not used. |
Type | Select a transaction type of a spreader is not used. |
Client Charge Return | Enter a value if applicable |
Received Adj Reason | Select a reason if applicable. |
How does account search work in Speed Posting?
When you enter an account number, the system searches for matches using the following identifiers:
Reference Number
Client Account Number
Customer Account Number
If matching accounts are found, the results list will also include any other accounts that share the same Judgment Case ID as those matched accounts. This allows you to easily view related judgment accounts when posting a payment.
Example
The initial search returns 3 matching accounts.
Each of those accounts has 1 additional account with the same Judgment Case ID.
The results list will display 6 total accounts, allowing you to select the appropriate account to post the payment.
Are all fields in the account/payment section required?
No. Fields related to additional account or payment details are optional. These may include:
Check Number
Primary Collector ID
Secondary Collector ID
Garnishment
Miscellaneous fields
Notes
What should you do after completing the required fields?
After completing the required fields, click Apply to post the payment.
A message will appear at the top of the screen with a link to the account where you can view the payment details.
