It is important to note that the allocation of payments across buckets and bundled accounts determined by Payment Spreaders, is different than Client Commission Rate which determines the agency's payment retention.
Users can review the available spreader configurations and select the appropriate configuration for their needs. If a unique spreader configuration is necessary, it is recommended to review it with an implementations specialist during set up to ensure it meets the user's needs.

Overpayment Method
Payment Spreaders determine the way a payment is spread across buckets and bundled accounts.
In Ace, the Identifier Field is a unique value or combination of values used to identify a record. Most often users choose to name the Identifier and Label fields the same.
In ACE, the label field (input field) allows a user to define the purpose of the element and how to use it.

When a payment is greater then the current balance, an overpayment will spread in one of the two following places.
1. OverPayment Bucket: It is best practice to spread overpayments to this bucket.
2. Principal OverPayment: This is a rarely used overpayment spread method that requires the permission OVERPAYMENT_OPERATOR to be applied to a user's permission roles.
