Recalculate Balances

Administrative users can recalculate the balances of transactions and itemization transactions directly from the account transactions page. Additionally, balance recalculations can be triggered through specific action paths.

Caution

Recalculating balances should be done infrequently and only when necessary. If you have any doubts about when to use this function, please contact support for guidance.

Recalculate From Account Transactions Page

  1. Accessing the Page:

  2. Navigate to the Account View.

    1. Click on 'Transactions' in the left sidebar.

    2. Click on 'Recalculate' to update the balances as needed.

Recalculate Balances with Workflow Tools

Logic Block

Create a logic block that identifies account balances needing to be recalculated.

  1. Go to Workflow → Logic Blocks → New

  2. Enter Label: Recalculate Balances

  3. Add Field: specify the logic and conditions to be applied to the accounts

  4. Click Apply

  5. Click Test: review your logic block and make any necessary changes

  6. Click Save when you are satisfied with the Logic Block

Action Path

  1. Go to Setup → Workflow → Action Paths, New

  2. Create an Action Path using the Class Name: Recalculate Balances

  3. Click Save

  1. Go to Utilities → Jobs, New

  2. Job Name: Recalculate Balances

  3. Label: Recalculate Balances

  4. Schedule: On Demand

  5. Active: True

  6. Task Type: Workflow: Action Path

  7. Active: True

    1. Selection Logic: Use the 'Recalculate Balances' logic block.

    2. Action Path: Use the ‘Recalculate Balances’ action path

  8. Save

  9. Run Job
