Updating Demographics

This article will demonstrate examples of incorrect demographic update and a correct demographic update.

Best Practice

To update demographic information for all accounts, it is recommended to make changes from the primary account.

This applies to any type of demographic data, such as phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, and identifying information such as names and dates of birth etc.

Incorrect demographic update:

The following reflects the primary demographic address being updated from a bundle member account instead of the primary account.

Note Bundle Member in the summary section.

After the address change is saved, the summary section does not reflect the address change as expected.

Correct demographic update

The following reflects the primary demographic address being updated from a primary account

(Note-"Bundle Member" is not displayed in the summary section).

After the address change is saved, the summary section does reflect the address change as expected. The demographic address table has been updated correctly.

The demographic address is now updated for every account in the bundle and is displayed in the summary section of each account in the bundle.
