Invitation category

You can now send a limited number of text message invitations to opt in through ITMS by setting the limit under "Max Invitations" in the vendor settings and setting up a text message profile with the Invitation category.

Go to Setup → Vendor → Text; Set the limit to the number of invitations you want to send.

In the Text Msg Profile, select Invitation.

Consumer phone number Opt out

When a consumer phone number is opted out, an agent with the permission to send text messages will be able to open the phone demographic page and still have access to send a text message in the invitation category.

Note

If the phone number has already received the maximum number of invitation text messages an error message will be displayed noting that.
This error could be the result of a phone number being sent invitations in association with a different account.
