Managing Blocked Numbers for Inbound Text Messages
A new screen under the Utilities menu, titled Text Message Blocked Numbers, allows users to manage blocked phone numbers for inbound texts.
Blocking a Number:
Enter a phone number in the text box to block it.
Once blocked:
All future inbound texts from that number are automatically set to ARCHIVED.
These texts do not trigger alerts or workflows.
If linked to an account, the texts remain visible in the account's text log.
All historical texts from that number are also updated to ARCHIVED.
Blocked Numbers List:
The screen displays all currently blocked numbers.
Users can remove numbers from the block list.
Unblocking a Number:
Does not unarchive past messages.
Future messages are processed as normal, including user alerts and workflow triggers.
