Managing Blocked Numbers for Inbound Text Messages

A new screen under the Utilities menu, titled Text Message Blocked Numbers, allows users to manage blocked phone numbers for inbound texts.

  • Blocking a Number:

    • Enter a phone number in the text box to block it.

    • Once blocked:

      • All future inbound texts from that number are automatically set to ARCHIVED.

      • These texts do not trigger alerts or workflows.

      • If linked to an account, the texts remain visible in the account's text log.

      • All historical texts from that number are also updated to ARCHIVED.

  • Blocked Numbers List:

    • The screen displays all currently blocked numbers.

    • Users can remove numbers from the block list.

  • Unblocking a Number:

    • Does not unarchive past messages.

    • Future messages are processed as normal, including user alerts and workflow triggers.
