New featuresSecurity Credential ManagerACE has expanded its key store section to include credentials used in specific locations of the application. This primarily involves username/password sets that would be used to communicate with external services such as payment destinations or file transfers. All existing passwords for these items have been automatically transferred to the security credentials section located under the setup menu. Please see the 'Take a closer look section' for more details. |
Virtual Agent
Short URL CapabilityIt is now possible to send debtors a shortened auto login URL for quick access to the virtual agent payment system via Letter/Email. To use this feature, incorporate the 'debt.generateVirtualAgentLoginUrl' field into your letter/email templates. Including a short URL allows the debtor to skip the login process and go straight to setting up a payment/payment plan.
Please see the "Letters New Letter Template and Associated Letter Profile" article via the help>get help menu within ACE for further instructions on setting up and modifying letter templates. |
Reports
Report Formatting changesThe Agent Performance Summary, Agent Commission Detail, and Client Inventory reports have had their formatting improved. These reports will be more in line with our other core reports. |
Credit Reporting
Updates to Metro2 file for non-collection agency customersA couple changes have been made to the Metro2 file generated by ACE that are specific to non collection agency customers.
|
Commission Rates
Salesperson Commission It is now possible to base salesperson commission rate off of either transaction or commission amount. This can be set within each client profile under salesman commission. |
Coming Soon

Credential Manager
ACE's central location for storing PGP keys has been renamed to 'Security Credentials' and expanded to contain all Username/password sets ACE uses to interact with external programs. Currently all ACE credentials are stored within the Specific task that uses them, primarily in job tasks used to export/import files in/out of ACE or within payment destinations. Moving credentials to one location removes the need to track down Multiple locations a credential might be used in the event of a change. Simply updating the credential profile would subsequently update it in all locations where it is used.
With the 3/15 release, all credentials will be automatically migrated to the security credentials section located under Setup>Security Credentials. Each credential that is associated with a job or payment destination will have a profile automatically created within the credential manager as shown below: |
Within the credential profile you may enter an identifier for the credential, the associated username/password, and a description of what that credential is for: |
If you wish to use the credential with a job or payment destination, navigate to that destination and select the credential from the new security key drop-down menu as shown below:
Within a job: |
Within a payment Destination: |
Going forward, If you wish to add/modify credentials associated with an external application, you will have to do so from the credential manager. After the credential has been created it can be assigned to the relevant task via the demonstrated drop-down menu. |
Making Things Right- Fixed a bug that prevented phone number verification date from being populated when a phone number was verified - Fixed a bug that prevented the onAfterDebtCancelInsert trigger from cancelling an account when triggered by a client access user. - Fixed an issue that caused an error when building a logic block using the field 'flag identifier'. - Restricted use of special characters (&;'"<>!) when naming action paths, attempting to use these characters will display an error. - Fixed an issue that prevented users from manually zeroing out the commission rate bucket in a transaction at the time of posting. - Fixed an issue that allowed users with the permission PAYMENT_MANAGE to view the setup menu. - If a user attempts to void an invoiced transaction, the system will prevent the void and inform the user that the transaction has been invoiced. |
