Hi (oops, I don't have your first name in our database!),
Below are the updates and fixes we will be pushing out to all of our customers.
We can’t wait to deliver further improvements to you in the months ahead!
All the best,
Your friends at The InterProse Corporation
Cool New Upgrades
No Rest for the Weary Programmer!
Accounts
- We have added the last four digits of the SSN as a new field. This will allow you to use the last four of an SSN to search for accounts, verify a consumer via the Virtual Agent and display on a report. Read below for more information.
- We have added RP Last Pay Date as a new field on the account summary. This date will be updated when any account in the responsible party bundle has made a payment. Read below for more information.
- New fields and options have been added to the ETL Loader to support judgements and other legal cases. This will allow you to import legal accounts and tie them to existing accounts.
Users/Roles
- We released phase 1 of a time tracking feature for collectors. Users with the Collector role will see a timer on the top right. In a future release we will include associated dashboard panels and agent performance reporting. Please look forward to it.
Transactions
- Transactions that are reversed, offset or credited will be highlighted to be more visibly noticeable.
- In order to maintain best security practices InterProse will no longer be handling 3rd party credentials. To enforce this change, InterProse will not input credentials for payment destination providers. These credentials will need to be entered by your company. To make sure the setup is done correctly InterProse will still need to be involved to activate the setup. We will review the setup to make sure there are no issues before activating it.
Reports
- We have added a new report that will take a look at a client's history. Read below for more information.
Accounting
- Client remit checks will now print in the same order as they appear in the queued remits table. This will allow you to sort the checks in the order you desire before printing.
Take a Closer Look!
SSN Last Four
We have added a new field for the last four digits of the Social Security Number. You can interact with this new field in the following ways.
Account Search
You will be able to search for accounts with the last four digits of the SSN.
Permission Roles
A permission has been added that will determine if a user sees the SSN or the SSN Last Four field, DEBT_DEMOGRAPHIC_SSN_SECURE. A user will not have access to both fields. Please make sure to remove this permission if you want to have access to the full SSN.
DEBT_DEMOGRAPHIC_SSN_VIEW and DEBT_DEMOGRAPHIC_SSN_UPDATE will give a user the ability to see and edit the field respectively.
Virtual Agent Consumer Authentication
The SSN Last Four will be included as an option for the virtual agent authentication method.
Reports
The analytics and SQL reports will allow you to display the last four digits. The field name is called National ID Last Four.
Responsible Party Last Payment Date
When a payment is made on an account in a responsible party bundle the balance of all accounts are updated, but only the account with the payment will have their last payment date updated. This has caused a discrepancy with responsible party accounts as their balance can be changed without the last payment date updating.
To alleviate this issue we have added the RP Last Pay Date. This payment date will update as long as a payment has occurred on any of the accounts in the responsible party bundle. You can use this new field to make sure that any statistics that rely on last payment date are accurate.
Clients History Analysis Report
We have created a report that shows a historical analysis of assignments, collections, commissions, cancelled and open accounts for clients. This report is ideal to get an overview understanding of your productivity from month to month and overall.
To access this new report go to Reports -> Clients -> History Analysis. You will be able to view the report by client or for all clients. The report can be viewed as an HTML, PDF, CSV or Excel.
The report will show a summary of account information for each month in the past year. It will also show the total for the past three years and the overall total. The summarized information includes the number of accounts, gross and net totals and other variables.
Making Things Right
- Fixed - Editing the identifier on a custom form field used to cause issues to the account summary requiring the custom form to be re-saved or re-created.
- Fixed - Payments imported via the ETL loader didn't update the expiration date for the primary agent like payments made from other sources did.
- Fixed - The list of adjustments on a transaction batch wouldn't sort.
