    Note Filter

    The notes section in ACE records all actions performed on an account. The Note Filter allows you to modify the types of notes displayed in an account.

    To access the Note Filter, select the filter icon; then select the type of notes you want to view in the account; select OK. 

     

     

    Note Filter Descriptions


    User - shows the active user related to the note (This can be a "Job" user if the note relates to a job that was run) - Can be deleted by the user only on the same day it is recorded.Important - important notes that are applied to the Account and show up near the top left of the screen - Cannot be deleted by the user in the notes section once recorded. However, the note at the top of the screen can be cleared in the Notate Account section.Account - notes related to the consumer Debt recordDemographic - related to phone numbers and additional consumer contact information
    Payment - note added when payment applied (will also record a transaction note)Transaction - note added when a transaction is posted including adjustments (will also record a payment note if the transaction posted was a payment)Cancel - related to this account (see Reactivate note)Reactivate - notes reactivation after account has been cancelled (see Cancel note)
    Letter - notes related to letter activityPhone - notes recorded when call activity is applied (Notate Account by user OR Dialer import by job)Document - notes documents that have been uploaded or deletedForward - related to Account Forwarding (accounts to be worked by another company you have contracted with) (see Recall note)*
    Recall - notes recall of a forwarded account (see Forward note)*Enrichment - Enrichment Vendor action notesBankruptcy - Manage bankruptcy notesDispute - Manage dispute notes
    Bundle - Notes related to bundle changes (Standard bundling of accounts based on Setup -> Bundling -> Bundle Tests)Credit Report - Notes pertaining to Credit Reporting*Virtual Agent - Notes pertaining to Virtual Agent activity*Export - ??????
    View - related to users who have viewed this account - typically disabled by default to reduce note clutterImported - Imported notes will show up in the notes field with this highlight

    Worklist - Each time an account is assigned or removed from a worklist, a note will show that here

    Collection - ??????
    Easy Payment - related to blind payments entered / uploaded into ACE (Not related to Virtual Agent - separate note type for Virtual Agent)Payment Plan - If a payment plan has been started or stopped, the notes will be identified with this highlight Case - Notes related to judgment accounts
