How are release notes or patches deployed?

Maintenance Settings define the preferred method and maintenance window for InterProse to deploy new releases or patches to your ACE portal.

Note

Emergency updates may occur outside of the configured Maintenance Settings.

Configure Maintenance Settings

1. Go to Setup → System.

2. Locate Maintenance Settings.

3. Select a Method:- On Schedule: ACE updates are deployed automatically according to the configured schedule and maintenance window.

   1. On Demand: ACE sends an alert when a new release is available. Return to Maintenance Settings when you are ready to apply the release.

   2. If you select On Schedule, configure the following:- Scheduled Day: Select the preferred day for scheduled deployments. InterProse recommends Sunday.

4. Maintenance Window Start: Select the beginning of the maintenance window. InterProse recommends 7:00 PM.

5. Maintenance Window End: Select the end of the maintenance window. InterProse recommends 11:00 PM. The maintenance window can end on the following day.

6. Select Apply.

When On Demand is selected, the Scheduled Day and Maintenance Window fields are not displayed.

Scheduled Deployments and Restarts

Scheduled deployments or restarts typically occur on Sundays, depending on your package. These deployments may include new features, updates, and bug fixes.

When On Schedule is configured, scheduled deployments occur within the selected maintenance window.

Emergency Deployments and Restarts

Emergency deployments or restarts may occur outside of the configured maintenance window. These deployments are reserved for critical updates or fixes.

Note

ACE deployments and restarts do not occur daily. InterProse reserves the right to deploy updates or restart ACE outside of the configured maintenance window when necessary.
