Account Bundling

Account Bundling settings determine how ACE groups related accounts into bundles and how information is managed within those bundles.

Access Account Bundling Settings

1. Navigate to Setup → Accounts → Bundling.

2. Configure the desired bundling options.

3. Click Save.

Bundle Settings

Setting	Description
Primary Account Selection Method	Selects how ACE determines the primary account within a bundle. Available options include Oldest Account, Newest Account, Highest Balance, and Priority. ACE also uses this method when the current primary account reaches a zero balance or is marked Closed, Cancelled, or Bankrupt.
Re-evaluate Primary on Member Change	Automatically re-evaluates which account should be the primary account whenever a bundle member is added, removed, or updated.
Pending Bundle Threshold	Specifies the minimum score required for an account to be identified as a pending bundle member. Accounts scoring between this value and 99 require manual review. Accounts scoring 100 are bundled automatically.
Exclude Status Code Groups	Prevents accounts in the selected status code groups from being bundled automatically. These accounts remain pending unless excluded from pending bundles.
Exclude Status Code Groups From Pending	Prevents excluded status code groups from appearing as pending bundle members.
Exclude Status Codes	Prevents accounts with the selected status codes from being bundled automatically. These accounts remain pending unless excluded from pending bundles.
Exclude Status Codes From Pending	Prevents excluded status codes from appearing as pending bundle members.
Bundle Custom Hook	Specifies a custom hook to execute during the bundling process, if configured.

Bundle Tests

Bundle Tests determine whether accounts belong in the same bundle. Each test is assigned a weight. As accounts satisfy each test, ACE adds the corresponding weights together. When the total score reaches 100 points, the accounts are automatically bundled.

Setting	Description
Field	The field used to compare accounts.
Weight	The number of points awarded when the field matches.
Comparison	Specifies how the field values are compared.

Bundle Propagation

Bundle Propagation determines which values are copied from the primary account to newly added bundle members.

Select the fields that ACE should propagate whenever an account is added to a bundle. Any selected field is copied from the primary account to the new bundle member.

Group Identifier	Copies the Group Identifier.
Posting Note	Copies the Posting Note.
Next Step	Copies the Next Step.
Promise to Pay Amount	Copies the Promise to Pay Amount.
Promise to Pay Date	Copies the Promise to Pay Date.
Primary Demographic	Copies the Primary Demographic information.
CoMaker Demographic	Copies the CoMaker Demographic information.
Patient Demographic	Copies the Patient Demographic information.
Misc Demographic	Copies the Miscellaneous Demographic information.
Spouse Demographic	Copies the Spouse Demographic information.
Business Demographic	Copies the Business Demographic information.
Status Code	Copies the Status Code.
Worklist	Copies the assigned Worklist.
Next Work Date	Copies the Next Work Date.
Primary Agent	Copies the assigned Primary Agent.
Score 1–5	Copies the selected score values.
Do Not Call	Copies the Do Not Call setting.
Do Not Mail	Copies the Do Not Mail setting.
Do Not Email	Copies the Do Not Email setting.
Do Not Text	Copies the Do Not Text setting.
Consent to Contact	Copies the Consent to Contact setting.
Account Attorney	Copies the assigned Account Attorney.

Bundle Merge

Bundle Merge determines which blank values on the primary account can be populated from a newly added bundle member.

When an account is added to a bundle, ACE checks the selected fields. If a selected field is blank on the primary account but contains a value on the new bundle member, ACE copies the value to the primary account.

For example, if the primary account does not contain a Date of Birth, but the new bundle member does, ACE copies the Date of Birth to the primary account. The updated value can then be propagated to the remaining bundle members based on the Bundle Propagation settings.

CoMaker Demographic	Populates blank CoMaker Demographic information on the primary account.
Patient Demographic	Populates blank Patient Demographic information on the primary account.
Misc Demographic	Populates blank Miscellaneous Demographic information on the primary account.
Spouse Demographic	Populates blank Spouse Demographic information on the primary account.
Business Demographic	Populates blank Business Demographic information on the primary account.
