Client File Manager provides Client Access users with access to files related to their assigned data. Depending on their configuration, Client Access users can upload, download, delete, and search for files, as well as upload files through File Drop Box.
Configuration
To enable File Manager access, go to:
Setup → User Interface → Client Access
File Manager Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Allow access to Client folders in File Manager | Allows clients to access Client File Manager and manage files within their permitted folders. |
| Allow access to File Drop Box | Allows clients to upload files using File Drop Box. |
Using Client File Manager
Provide clients with the following instructions:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Open File Manager | Select Client File Manager from the left sidebar. |
| Upload a File | Open a folder and upload a file. |
| Download a File | Select the file name to download the file. |
| Delete a File | Select the checkbox next to the file and click Delete. |
Using File Drop Box
If Allow access to File Drop Box is enabled, clients can upload files through File Drop Box.

File Search Behavior
File Search behavior depends on whether an Upload Folder is configured for the Client Access user.

| Upload Folder configured | Files uploaded through File Drop Box can be located using File Search. |
| Upload Folder not configured | Files uploaded through File Drop Box are stored in /Users/admin/ and are not returned in File Search results. |
