Credit Card Payment Plans: Intelligent Failure and Rescheduling for NSF Events

This article covers Intelligent Failure and Intelligent Reschedule behavior options to address credit card payment failures in a payment plan.

Note

For effective implementation, ensure that your credit card payment processor can return specific messages like "Insufficient Funds" or "NSF."

To enable these features:

1. Navigate to Setup → Transactions → Payment Destinations

2. Locate the Credit Card Payment Destination

3. Find the Payment Destination Section

4. Check the box in the Intelligent Failure Field to enable

5. Check the box in the Intelligent Reschedule Field to enable

6. Click Apply
