Funding the Trust Account Register

If you are going to reconcile the Trust Account against your Bank Account, you will need to fund the register. 

Go to Accounting-Registers-Select the Trust Account-Add

Trust Account Fields


  • Entry Account=Deposit (Payment is used to transfer money OUT of the register)
  • Memo=Funding the register
  • Deposit=$1,000.00
  • Transaction Date=Today
  • Entry Type=Transfer
  • Click Save

The deposit will be in a pending status. Review the register to ensure accuracy. 

In the register, click the checkbox "C" to clear the deposit just made.  

Other Transaction Types
Other transaction types in the deposit register include: deposited payment batches, remitted invoices, and any voided invoice payments.
