Status Code fields
Status Code section
- Enter debt status code name
- Select debt Status Code Groups
- Add Label of the status code
- Add a description
Options section
- Is this status code going to lock down the account so no one can work the account? If yes select the "Locked" box
- Is this status code protected from being changed to another status code by individuals that don't have management type permissions? If so check the "Is Protected" box
- You can add a Watermark to the screen when this status code is used. For example, if this was a "legal" status code, you can add the word "Legal" in this box and it will show across the screen when the status code is added to the account
Credit Bureau Reporting Mapping section
- Add the credit report code here. If you don't credit report you still must add a code. The typical code that is used for collections is 93.
- If this is a dispute type code you will need to add a Compliance Condition Code
- Special Codes are used for special type of credit reporting. If you think you need to add a special code please review the code types
