Promo Codes for VA

Promo Codes were recently made available to configure and share with a consumer. Following receipt of a Promo Code, the consumer could share a code they had received with an agent who could apply the promotion to their account while processing a payment or setting up a payment plan.

Now Promo Codes can also be used directly by the consumer in Virtual Agent 2.0. There is a new "Number of Payments" field that will be used in conjunction with Settlement Promo Codes so the discount offered can be configured with a payment plan the consumer sets up in Virtual Agent 2.0.

Action Paths

Action Paths have been updated so that when they are cloned, only the root flow action will include the addition of “- Clone” to the label. Now the admin or supervisor configuring the cloned Action Path won't need to rename each of the other flow actions in the Action Path.

Email and API Calls

There is a new field in the Email Vendor where a URL can be stored. If populated with a valid URL, inbound emails will be sent to it.

There are also new API endpoints corresponding to email in the ACE API Documentation from the Help menu.

Phone Demographic Permissions

There are new permissions that have been added related to the ability to Insert, Update or View Phone Demographic Miscellaneous fields.

All of the new permissions have been added to the “AGENT” Permission Role.

The new “VIEW” permissions have also been added to the “MENU - ACCOUNTS” Permission Role.

Please Note: If changes were previously made to associated Permission Role defaults, the new permissions may have been added to other Permission Roles or no Permission Roles. If you are unable to alter your Permission Roles to meet your needs, please reach out to support.

The default contact_options_text_notice: text has been updated

from:

to:

"Message and Data Rates may apply. You are agreeing to allow {companyName:string} to send SMS and MMS messages relating to your payment and weekly reminders. To stop receiving messages send STOP for more information send HELP to {textVendorNumber :string}."

VA Privacy and Terms

Privacy Policy links and Terms and Services* links will now be visible on the following pages in VA 2.0:

  1. Login page

  2. Contact Options pages

In order for Terms and Services to be visible, custom text will need to be added to the custom text file associated with the VA 2.0 profile associated with the accounts.

The Privacy Policy is already available in the default custom text file. Below is an example of the JSON key-value pair if a customer wants to also include “terms_and_services”.

"terms_and_services": "<p>By using this service, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and our usage guidelines. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.</p>",

Fixed These:

  • When using VA payment page auto login links, the consumer was being presented with an erroneous minimum payment amount. That has been fixed.

  • An error was showing up when attempting to modify a payment plan using a debit card with BIN database and 'exclude credit card' configured. That has been fixed.

  • When adding custom content to an email message being prepared, content was unexpectedly disappearing while being entered. This has been corrected.

  • The Last Right Party Contact date (RPC date) was not being set as expected when a CALL_BACK contact result was entered. It is now.

  • The ETL Import “Account Updates” sidebar menu option was pointing to the Account Updates Legacy ETL Load Method instead of the Account Updates Optimized ETL Load Method. This has been corrected.
