ACE Release Notes - 9/19/2021

Below are the updates and fixes we will be pushing out to all of our customers.

Regulation F

Be on the lookout for a document outlining the existing features and tools in ACE as well as new enhancements you can expect in the future to help you better manage some of the challenges expected with meeting the requirements associated with CFPB Regulation F.

Cool New Upgrades 

ETL Loaders

• The email log ETL loading speed has been significantly improved
• “Primary collector” can now be loaded with data via the payment and transaction ETL load methods
• "Created by” can now be loaded with data via the payment and transaction ETL load methods in place of defaulting to the “job user”

Jobs / Job Tasks

• The speed of invoice generation has been improved when using the “Accounting: Invoice Generate” job task to produce a large number of client invoices
• The speed of “Document: Transfer To”, “Document: Transfer From” and “Account Documents: Transfer From” job tasks have all been improved
• Greater file sizes can now be transferred using the “Document: Transfer To”, “Document: Transfer From” and “Account Documents: Transfer From” job tasks now
• The number of jobs that can run concurrently in ACE has been increased from ten to forty. Use this capability with  extreme caution . There are variables that may impact job and system performance when concurrent jobs are running in ACE including the potential to trigger workflows.

Bundling

Bundling process filtering has been improved resulting in faster bundling for large numbers of accounts,

Reports

The ACE core overpayment report now runs much faster.

Metro2 File Generation

Speed of the Metro2 file generation process has been enhanced.

Bankruptcy

POST_PETITION has been added to the bankruptcy information status selection list.

Create User Alert

The flow action to create user alert now includes the ability to set the user method based on the current user.

Take a Closer Look 

Judgment Wallet

If an account that is party to a case has an active wallet stored at the time the wallet will be copied to the judgment account when the judgment is rendered.

Legal Case Fields

Legal case fields and case court fields are now available for use from the following tools.

• the summary section
• logic blocks
• inventory reports

Please note: only the data associated with one case will be available

Garnishment

• Garnishee options can now be typed - the type is identified for each garnishee record under Setup -> Legal -> Garnishees and is visible from an account garnishment record when selecting a garnishee
• An additional defendant (comaker) selection option has been added to the garnishment page

New Form Tools

There are now articles available through ACE -> Get Help describing each of the new form enhancements that were released in July. A list with links to each document can be found under ACE -> Release Notes -> ACE Form Enhancements Released 07/18/2021. Each document includes a recorded video with additional guidance.

Making Things Right

- Corrected erroneous text messaging associated with multiple open browser tabs

- Fixed a problem related to restoring or cloning forms with select values

- onAfterCaseInsert can now change account status

- An account can now be assigned to a different exclusive worklist without first being removed from the original exclusive worklist

- Corrected problems where worklist changes were erroneously being applied to one or more accounts in a bundle due to unrelated “apply to” activity on the account or bundle

- “Is Forwarded” flag no longer throws an error when used in logic blocks

- Fixed export configuration issues

- A Javascript browser memory leak occurring each time a browser session was opened in Chrome was impacting customer performance; it was identified and fixed

- Corrected a problem where working on logic blocks in more than one open browser window was sometimes causing work in one of the windows to be overridden on apply or save

Logic Blocks

An issue in logic blocks has been identified where each time the “Add Field” option is used to update the logic block, apply or save must be used. If apply or save are not used, subsequent “Add Field” selections will override the previous selection.

This issue is temporary and is expected to be corrected in the release following this one.
